The use of cyclone heat exchangers has énabled a reduction in both the rotary kiln length and the time required to achieve the temperature necessary to dry out the processed raw materials. Cement dust is introduced through the uppermost hot air duct and preheated within the various levels of the cyclone by means of hot combustion gas coming from the rotary kiln. In these cyclones, temperatures vary from 300°C (upper part) to 800°C (lower part).

A good knowledge of the process, an ability to evaluate the effect of the fuel used on the installed refractories and knowledge of the chemistry of the process allows selection and implementation of the right quality materials.
The choice of appropriate monolithic lining materials is made according to the thermal and chemical conditions experienced in the area. Depending on the customer requirements, evaluation of the installation conditions and timing, CALDERYS offers the most suitable solution for each particular working unit. The wall installation is carried out in several layers, using appropriate anchoring.
