The CALDERYS concept for insulation is a multiple layer system with gunned or cast lightweight materials, where the last layer also acts as a safety lining in case of damage to the hot face layer.
The CALDERYS monolithic concept for insulation is to achieve a tight installation, minimising gaps or other routes that could otherwise allow hot gases to penetrate the lining and damage the steel shell.
